The Washington Junior Nationals Hockey Team is proud to announce that forward Nathanael Rojas has committed to Fitchburg State University of the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC), for the upcoming 2012-2013 season. The tenacious forward has been an important piece to the Nationals organization for the past 3 seasons and has been the Capitan of the team for the past 2 seasons. Rojas will bring energy and maturity in his first season with the Falcons.
"I'm very excited for Rojas’ commitment to Fitchburg. His strong work ethic both on and off the ice really defines him as a person. I can't think of a more deserving player with all that he has been through. Everyone in the Nationals’ organization is happy for him and wishes him nothing but success," said Anthony DiPalma – Head Coach.
“I'm extremely excited for the opportunity to attend Fitchburg State University and play for coach Fuller and coach Kyne. A deep gratitude from the bottom of my heart goes to my Mother, Father, and Sister, for all of their years of support through the pain, as well as the joy,” said Rojas.
Nathanael Rojas is the third National player to commit to a NCAA hockey program.
